This policy explains what information L.S Aesthetic collects when you visit lsaesthetic.com or contact us, how it is used, and what rights you have over it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal jargon.
Who we are
L.S Aesthetic is an aesthetic treatment clinic based in Tbilisi, Georgia. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the party responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
You can reach us at any time through Facebook Messenger or Instagram.
What this website collects
This website is intentionally simple. It has no contact forms, no newsletter signup, no account system, and no comment section. There is nowhere on this site for you to type personal information, and we do not ask you to.
We do not set cookies for advertising, and the site does not store anything on your device to identify you across visits.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, some technical information is handled automatically when a page loads:
- Hosting and security. Our site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the page and to protect against attacks and abuse. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Fonts. Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. This means Google receives your IP address when the fonts are requested. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Media files. Some images and videos are delivered through Cloudinary, which similarly receives the technical request details needed to serve the file.
Advertising and measurement
We advertise our clinic on Facebook and Instagram. If you arrive here from one of our adverts, Meta may already hold information about that interaction under its own policies, independently of us.
We may use the Meta Pixel or similar measurement tools on this website to understand which adverts lead people to contact us and to show our adverts to relevant audiences. Where these tools are active, they may set cookies or process your device and browsing information, and that information is shared with Meta as a joint controller for advertising purposes. You can manage how Meta uses your data for adverts in your Facebook Ad Preferences.
You can opt out of most interest-based advertising through your browser settings, your device's advertising controls, or your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences. Doing so will not prevent you from using this website or contacting us.
When you contact us
Every booking and enquiry button on this site opens a conversation in Facebook Messenger. We do not run our own messaging system. When you message us:
- The conversation takes place on Meta's platform and is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy as well as this one.
- We see the name and profile associated with your Facebook or Instagram account, and whatever you choose to tell us.
- We use that information solely to answer your questions, arrange a consultation or appointment, and follow up about your treatment.
Health information
If you choose to tell us about your medical history, medications, allergies, skin concerns or previous treatments, that is health information and is treated as sensitive. We ask for it only where it is necessary to advise you safely or to carry out a treatment, we use it for no other purpose, and we never use it for advertising or share it with advertising platforms.
Please do not send us detailed medical information through social media if you would prefer to keep it private. You are always welcome to discuss it in person at your consultation instead.
Photographs and videos
The before-and-after images and video testimonials on this site are of real patients who gave us their permission to publish them. We never publish a patient's photograph, video or review without their consent.
If you are a patient and you would like an image or video of yourself removed, message us and we will take it down. You do not need to give a reason, and it will not affect your care with us.
How long we keep information
Messenger conversations remain in our inbox on Meta's platform until we or you delete them. Treatment records are kept for as long as is necessary to provide safe ongoing care and to meet our record-keeping obligations under Georgian law, and are then deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your information
- Object to or restrict how we use it
- Withdraw consent you have previously given, including consent to publish your photographs
Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR, and visitors in Georgia have equivalent rights under the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection. To exercise any of them, simply message us. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you are entitled to complain to your local data protection authority. In Georgia this is the Personal Data Protection Service.
International visitors
Our clinic is in Georgia, and we welcome patients travelling from abroad. If you contact us from outside Georgia, your information will be processed in Georgia and on the servers of the providers named above, which may be located in other countries.
Children
Our treatments and this website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant, we will make that clear rather than quietly amending the text.
Contact
Questions about this policy, or about any information we hold, can be sent to us on Facebook Messenger or Instagram. We read every message ourselves.
